What would your DDx be? Is this neoplastic, infectious or inflammatory? What would you biopsy?
Can leukemia / lymphoma infiltrate the tendon sheath like this? Would you consider sarcoid? Other?

Femoral lymphadenopathy
Subcutaneous, intermuscular and intramuscular edema

Adenopathy with subcutaneous and intramuscular edema

  1. There have been many suggestions. Everyone thinks this is neoplasm. Most favor lymphoma...someone said they saw a very similar presentation in the ECU tendon sheath and recommended PET. Additional suggestions incl. Kaposi, Synovial Sarcoma, Rhabdomyosarcoma, Epithelioid sarcoma. TBD---he has been admitted and I understand that the plan is to biopsy the groin lymph node. Thanks for your help.
