29 y/o s/p injury 3 months ago








Kind of unusual predominantly medial tibial plateau fracture. I don't know the mechanism of injury and if I find out, I will post it. I believe this is a Schatzker type IV.
Check out the involvement of the lateral tibial plateau hyaline cartilage (non displaced) on the axial image.

  1. Your axial image looks like there’s a coronal split of both condyles. I don’t think you can force this into a Schatzker type. I’ve often found that plateau fractures don’t fit the schema.
